Anti-government protests in Egypt continue for a 16th day, spreading to parliament and the Suez Canal as the US urges an end to the 30-year state of emergency.

وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ
