States and societies have certain features and characteristics that qualify them as such. Among thosefeatures and characteristics of being a State is the existence of “Law and Order”. By Law and Order, we mean a group of “Rules” which are constant, coherent and stable, made to suit the cultural features of that specific society.
Under a vicious, bloody and indifferent military rule, Law is normally takes a vacation! Order does not exist except in the way the military see fit to accomplish their goals. The Civil life’ standards cease to exist, as known in a civilized society.
On June 30, 2013, in the wake of military coup, led by General Adel Fattah Al-Sisi, the state of Egypt has fallen. All Rules that guard the society and make it “human” have been substituted by a “made to measure” rules which are being put n place on as-you-go bases, to establish the complete an utter control of the military on the Egyptian people, resources of Egypt and its wealth, through restoration of the Old “Husni Mubarak” regime.
No measures were spared by the bloody coup leaders to ensure the success of the new military corrupt regime. Thousands of innocent civilian demonstrators were killed, in cold blood, within only ten hours attack on Rabea and Al-Nahda Squares. Tens are being killed on daily bases, and hundreds of thousands are detained in a sub-human cells, crowded with over 100 detainees per cell. Villages are attacked. Women and children of 13 and 14 years old, were detained, jailed and sentenced to up to seventeen years!
On the other hand, as called “constitution” was drafted to guard the position of the ministry of defense for two consecutive presidential terms. The Minister of Defense shall not be appointed by the President. He will be appointed by a military council that will be re-appointed by the Minister!
Also, all main natural resources, roads’ tolls, main industries and tourism are now under the control of the military. The army’s income and budget is not under any parliamentary supervision or control. It is deemed to be “top secret” as part of the national security.
All and every characteristic of a fallen state and dismantled society is now realized in Egypt. That is why no country, except five, accepted the new regime.
Having said that, and although the US has not yet officially, diplomatically and politically accepted the new regime, they are the main supporters of that regime. They stand behind the vast financial and diplomatic support that is being offered by both Saudi Arabia and UAE, to help sustain the momentum of the coup and prevent its collapse under the pressure of people’s will.
The Broterhood regime, led by Dr Mohammed Mursi, was a idealistic democratic regime, which, for total lack of political experience, could not see the reality of the world political affairs. Power is how world is now being ruled. The US army has invaded countries which are thousands of miles away from their home land as a “protective” and “preamble” measure to defend their home land. They have killed hundreds of thousands of civilians to do so.
The Muslim Brotherhood refused to use any measure of violence or emergency laws to protect their regime. That as the main mistake they have committed and, therefore, they are to be blamed for whatever happening in Egypt. They did not realize that Democracy is only made for the West. The West and its puppet civilian and military regimes never agree to a true democracy in the Middle East, for many reasons. On top of those reasons are Oil and the safety of the Jewish state.
However, it seems that the government of the US does not realize, as usual, that such support will get to a point, in the near future, where it will lose all they claimed interest in the region. Such policy, being very productive and worthy for the major US corporations and military, is counterproductive and works against the interest of the citizens of the US.
The situation in Egypt is now deteriorated to a point where necessities of life are almost impossible to obtain. An inevitable riot is looming in the near future.
There is now no law or order in Egypt. Laws are made by a bribed judiciary system. The order is being disturbed and violated by a corrupt police and killing army squads.
Egypt, as an entity, is being fractured. It definitely lost all the characteristics of being a state. It I now a strong hold of a military mafia that will kill mercilessly to stay in power.
