Influential cleric Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi urges Sunnis from around the Middle East to go to Syria to join the battle against President Bashar al-Assad.
قال تعالى:
وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ
