Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashed Al Maktoum, vice president of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, took into his care a six-year-old girl abused by her father. “Consider her my daughter,” Maktoum told the mother of Meera who he visited in hospital and who sustained severe physical injuries at the hands of
