The eyes of the Middle East will be on New York on Friday, when Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to formally ask the United Nations to recognize Palestine as a state.

وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ
