Syrian workers and students were forced to attend rallies in support of President Bashar al-Assad this week, a human rights campaigner in the country told CNN Wednesday.

وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ
