The material of this book is meant to be a study course for the American Open University. It was put together with the aid of the curriculum books in the two subjects of Mustalah of Hadith and the methodology of Muhadetheen. In that, I am indebted to Dr. Mohamed Luqman Al-Salafi, and Dr Mahmoud Altahhan. The subject is extremely important to students of knowledge, as the Hadith of the Prophet is the second source of Islamic Shariah. It explains, specifies, and clarifies the Quran. It is paramount for students of Shariah to be familiar with the science of Mustalah and the methodology that Muhadetheen used to establish such a great science, which is unique to Islamic science.
